Digital Animation  

The using of digital animation is becoming more and more popular and is growing rapidly over the years. Skillful, creative and dedicated professionals have come up with wonderful creations, ranging from game cinematics to animated features. <??>    

This course, Digital Animation, aims to prepare students for a dynamic and challenging career in the amazing world of digital animation. There are also several modules that are specially designed to provide a complete education to students so as to develop their creativity, potential and skills through intensive training in areas like traditional and digital animation techniques and skills.   

Students will be taught on traditional arts which will eventually be applied using digital tools in the new and fully equipped animation labs with the latest and advanced hardware and software. They will be given projects and assignments to do, in order to show their potential skills in the ultimate quest to create a high-class digital animation content.   

Educational trips to production houses and industry events locally and overseas will be offer to students who are interested. They can even volunteer themselves on various animation-related and computer graphics events so as to gain valuable experience of the animation industry. Not only that, they will also be given opportunities to go for a 4 months overseas attachment.    

Upon graduation, they can work as an illustrator, concept artist, character designer, storyboard artist, compositor, animator or even a modeler. For students who are considering of furthering their studies, they may apply for local or overseas universities in areas like visual effects, games development, design and fine arts. In other words, their future prospects are very wide ranging.
